all it does it force air into the engine and make it run lean so you have to richen it up to the point of 0 fuel mileage...here is an idea tho, lets see if we can get the exhaust to feed part of the intake like a turbo and add an intercooler to make it really dense ...oh wait it does feed off the exhaust and an intercooler would make it even more lean so I quess we should just run em like they built them to run ... now if you could feed it a shot of n.o.s it may give you a little more speed , oh wait theres already nitro in the fuel...foiled again

There is no replacement for displacement.

SOD's vids should be made mandatory watching in RCU, because the stupid supercharger bit always comes up and there are always some serious flame wars that erupt.

I do realize the mods can't sticky this trend being it would fall under the category of "manufacture bashing" so if anyone see's any questions about superchargers in any other trends (or sites[sm=wink_smile.gif]) please have them take a few moments and watch the tube vids [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

You didn't need to go to so much trouble to put a bullet in the supercharger myths. It's really dead simple. You can't have forced induction in a valveless engine. Period. If there are no valves, all you are doing when you force more mixture into the intake, is pushing it out of the exhaust port.

No sticky.

well your not bashing a manufacturer unless you name a specific company that produces them but were still not bashing it, were just being honest, even the mod agrees

Ive already been thru a few trends on RCU a year ago "or so" and yes we've all seen the discussion being *there are no valves in a two stroke which pretty much makes any turbo or supercharger useless*... unless your into show factor.

I mean If they can figure out how to make a 2wd R1 (a yamaha) then Im sure someone could develop a valve system for a scaled two stroke. But why mess a good thing when its been working for eons?

Yeah im staying away from any "finger pointing" as much as possible. So NOT saying "SUPERCHARGERS SUCK" (when we agree they do) is the goal for me

Your right !

however these engines do have valves in a sense, they wouldn't run if they didn't..... the crank window acts like a valve, and so the does the piston as it open and closes the sleeve ports.... When the crank window is open the piston blocks the sleeve ports, so you actually can pressurize the crankcase without it blowing out the exhaust....
