hey Thead, Instead of adding tail weight, I would make a hatch in the tail just forward of where the servos are in the tail and put my receiver and battery pack back there. You will move your three extensions for the elevators and rudder to the ailerons and throttle. You also will probably not need tail weight. quote:
ORIGINAL: Thunderhead Glad to see this thread is still alive. My 202 is finally VERY near completion. All that is left is to add some tail weight and check the consuption rate of my motor. I'm using the stock tank, but I've got a BME 50 hanging up front, so Im not sure if I need to go slightly bigger. Has around 23-24 lbs pull (tied to fish scale on the ground) swinging a 22X8 prop. I know it's a little over kill, but what the heck. I'll DEFINITELY post pic's of her before I fly it, so everyone can see how the motor fits and all that good stuff.
