I have been flying r/c for over 15 years now, am now getting serious about learning how to do serious precision manuevers and have yet to find any books or a person to really instruct me how to do this. I am interested in learning to flat spin, hover etc etc. I live in Newport, NC and have a Magpie 40 and a .60 Cap 232 and am more than willing to learn some new tricks.

To find the IMAC sequences visit the web site

www.mini-iac.com

3D is a different ballgame if you want to know how to do it then go to the horizon hobby website and look in the past archives for instructions, Jason Shulman has a video of how to do 3D out, or you can just ask some of the guys here how to do it. I can teach anyone to hover from $100-$300. The key is to buy that much fuel and practice

You're kind of asking two different questions here- no hovers during IMAC sequences! You can download the judging and flying guide right from the IMAC website. Have fun!

If it is preceision flying you are interested in, try Don's Hobbys. he has a couple of books on percision flying for pattern. Most of the information can be used in IMAC.

For 3D flying (flat spins, hover, etc.) - check out the above plus Frank Noll has a great video out as well.

If you are interested in flying IMAC and are not sure on how to do it. Then you can go the the web site and get the help from their guide. Also just try to fly straight lines and straight vertical up /down lines that is a good thing to practice. after your able to do that then try maybe a slow roll or even a snap roll but try to keep the plane on the same heading and altitude. It sounds easy but it give it a shot it may be hard then you think. If you would like i could help you out the best i could. However i live FL so the best of luck

James

Go to the aerobatic maneuvers section of my site to get an idea of what the different maneuvers look like.
