Im looking to get an RC car. I was wondering about the Dash, is it worth $100? Or would it be better to spend more and get the Sprint for $189? I just want something to screw around with not race or anything, yet.

Also how long do the batteries last off a full charge? I've heard electric cars can't go very long before going dead, but I could always buy more batteries.

Thanks

go for sprint
more expensive but u can do alot with it if u decided later, and its 4wd
duration will depend on motor, battery capacity, gearing and driving style.
bashing with 3300, stock motor/gearing... i think 10 min?

with the stock set up (stock motor,gearing...) and a 3300 you will get 7-10 min. now if you toss the novak brushless in there youll get closer to 20 min of run time!! with the right tire and shock set up that sprint is one bad... most lhs's have planty of parts you can make fit.

i run a 27-turn motor in my sprint with a HITEC ESC and slightly higher then stock gearing...and i use 3300 mAh batteries and i get 23 minutes out of my car.

Hey. I would go with the Dash. I've had mine now for a little under a week, and i've liked all it has to offer. The radio frequency's aren't the best, but the stock 7.2v battery that comes with it has given me something like 20+ minutes of charge on flat ground. I also bought a quick charger, it takes fifteen min. max to recharge my battery. So all in all i'd reccomend it as a 7.5 out of 10 car. Though it's ESC sucks, it's motor seems pretty good. But then i don't know all that much yet.
