Status: offline 		Guys, does anyone know where you can buy rubber covers for over your switch. I have some from some old Airtronics with a metal plate that holds it tight against the switch but I need more of them. I am using JR now and these are totally waterproof. I hope somebody still makes something that will work. Thanks in advance.

Status: offline 		sometimes we make spoon shields. if ya wanna try it, you just cut the end off of the round part of the spoon and ca it over the switch. jeff

Status: offline 		First, apply silicone sealant around the edges of the switch / charge jack. Second, apply Vaseline to the switch itself and / or the moving door of the charging jack. Inspect switch after every flying session. Has worked for me for over a year.

Status: offline 		Or get one of the Dubro switch holder assemblies. The switch is operated via a 1/16" wire and is not exposed to the soggy outside.

Maybe that will help.

Personally, I prefer to mount the switch internally and use a wire through a snug hole to actuate the switch.
