Seems like it should work...so long as all the bolt holes line up and the power requirements are met...

That Mega is too big for the stock Kyosho fan. It will not fit into the motor tube you need a 16/15/2 or 16/15/3 Mega motor they will fit insided the Kyosho fan. I would consider the 3 turn on 10 CP 1700 cells should fly the plane just fine.

Hi Viper 21,
Thanks for your info, actually I used to fly one about a year ago with a Mega 16 but with 8x1700 cells, not 10. It would'nt hand launch you needed a bungee to get airborne, but I buried it's nose one day and it is no more !! I was just wondering Mmm would this Mega 22 fit in one ????

Hey, I don't suppose you know the Robbe Mustang foam kit do you ? 42" span for Mega 22's, I'm trying to fly one but it won't seem to get airborne on an 8x1700 cell pack !!! I'm running an 8x6 prop, I'm fairly new to electrics, maybe you 'll know better than I but I have a 2400x8 battery this should give more power to allow hand launches right ? just waiting for a day to test this now. My ears are always open for any advice.
Thanks.

Mel.

Hi Mel, sorry I dont know that plane. But if you can email me the specs on the plane especially the empty weight and wing area and span. And if you tell me exactly with Mega motor it is that you have I might be able to help you out with the battery and prop part. I am willing to try just use the email function on the post here and I will see what I can tell you.
