Hi! I have some questions about RC cars as I am new. I recently (26/7/02) bought a Tamiya TT01 Ferrari Enzo (great car very fast) but I was wondering when and how I should upgrade it? Can anyone halp me? If you have this car I would value your opinion greatly! Thanks!

Upgrading the ESC is a great start. I'd look at a "no limit" type speed control (with or without reverse) rather than a less expensive one (which will restrict the type of modified motor you can run).

If the kit comes with bushings, I would get a bearing set first.

u could put a bigger motor and better esc in it.

I am building a bolink electric funny car drag racer and i am putting a novak super rooster reversible(no motor limit) and a Associated Ti modified 8T triple motor in it and i hope to get it around 80 mph
But u will not need that kind of power in your car so i would recommend a 19 turn mod motor and a better esc and that should help u go faster (also u might want to chane the gears and possibly put a 2 speed tranny)

Hope i was a help to you as u can tell i am a speed freak
looks like it comes with a 23t http://www.digitalplus.nl/tamiya/tam_57700_xb2.html

I would first step up to a 19t, chances are your esc or msc will handle it, if not then theres a good reason to buy your esc.

go with a good motor, good motors are cheap "around $55"

I recomend the trinity d5 or p94

for esc go for

Novak super rooster

or LRP

if you want reverse you choices are

Quantum Pro Reverse
or
F1 Pro Reverse

dont know the diferences, except footprint

and of course there is the LRP IPC but its pricey
