I've wanted an Ultra Stick .60 for a while and with the new DLE 20cc out, it seems like a match made in heaven. Well, they are out of stock and the Hangar 9 site says they are discontinued. I've considered getting a Great Planes Big Stick 60 and modifying it to look more like a stick (get rid of the scalloped ailerons/elevator and round rudder) but I would really like to have a winter project to mess with. Anyone know where a kit can be found? I know that Lazer Works sells a short kit of a 15% larger 40 Ugly Stick but no plans are available for it.

Brian

I built a DAS Little Stick from a Lazer Works short kit and put a Super Tigre G-51 on it with a pipe. Flew it for a year before an aileron ripped out of it.

I'm looking for a 64-68" wing span kit to put a DLE 20 on.

The GP Big Stick is a good model. They're built light and fly very well. I've had a couple.

One of the nice things about the GP Stick is you can buy just the parts you need separately. Wing, Fuse, Tail, etc.

Mine has a Jett 90 on the nose.

Looks like I may have found a source in my own back yard. I may have to wait a bit for one though. I like'em. I'd probably put a much bigger rudder and elevator on them though.
