need to know if G2 will look and work as good on a flat screen TFT LCD monitor as it does on a regular display. I was told that the TFT LCD may not be good for gaming as it has a slower refresh rate????

It looks great on my IBM T30 laptop, Just as good as on my other machines. I would not think that the refresh rate would be something that even pertains to a flat panel display. Where a CRT must use magnets to deflect a single beam to create a line over and over down the screen and then back to the top again (refresh). A flat panel would not scan at all since it is a matrix of pixels that are turned on or off.

Yeah it has a slower refresh rate but I don't think there's any discernible difference. Enjoy !
