Hi there richard  I'm currently running the summit tires and beadlocks and really like them. The only thing i would suggest is straping them so they dont expand when at speed. Hope this helps.

Aren't these splined 17MM?  if so, will they work with 17MM hex?

Yeah there splinned i took care of that with a dremel. But im not sure about the ones richard has in the link he has. And the weight isnt bad but I cant really tell because I'm running 6s for now might try 5s some time.

if you're looking for awesome big tires, I've been looking at the HPI terra pins. I think standard savages look great with them....

four balloons is what this thread is about, haha. Have you seen summit tires are any speed above 20? wobbly balloons (taping might help, as stated above)
