I've ordered from them and I believe they are in Canada. No problems dealing with them. Prompt service.

Bought from them too. Highly regarded company. Been around since the 70s if I remember right.

Gord.

just want to share my experience with icare
talk with them on the phone everything was fine shipping was a little bit slow no tracking number
i ordered a carbon folding prop 90$ is a bit expensive but since i ordered a gearbox
and a spinner i didnt want to make another order from another site
the prop i ordered was 20x13 verified several times! by phone and mails!
the one i got was 20x12.5
also the gearbox was damaged by a mishandling but still usable so we leave it a side (should have been checked by the seller before shipping it overseas it is not like it is a local sale!)
when i asked for the reason sending me the wrong pitch prop this is the answer i get:

prop is correct: 20x12.5 = 20x13 that's how Graupner advertises it

Thanks!
Best regards

glad that you have not had any problem
just wanted to share my experience with them and the idiot answer that i received plus the hole in my pocket due to another order i need to make now!
no need to say that i'm sure none is perfect but the least you can do is admit your mistakes! and not throwing them on the buyer!
best of luck with your future orders but when you wont received what you order dont think icare would actually care from it

I have never used them but just for grins I did a search and discovered pages and pages under icare-rc. I only opened a couple of the pages and didn't find anything alarming. If I was going to order anything from someone new {to me} it's worth the time to use the RCU search engine before you buy. With that many pages there may be more then one person that got the wrong prop pitch?? A half inch difference in the pitch isn't a big deal but I too like to get what I order. If I was going to use them I think I would open a few more pages.

i too search for reviews before i ordered from them most of the reviews where positive
and half a inch pitch is not much but it is like saying the 1350kv is the same as 1260kv
well it isnt what i have ordered and the idiotic answer did not contribute to my mood
nor the slightly damaged gearbox that i will not use risking my precious plane well

my experience was bad
bad customers service

Not searching for reviews at all. On the bottom of this page is a place you can type in a key word and it will pull up anything with that key word in it. I just searched for the company name, icare-rc and found a lot of pages like this one. This way you can check out different threads and see what others have to say about a company before you buy a product from them.
Once in a while it's just a minor problem someone had and reported it, other times it's pages and pages of problems people have reported on RCU.
If people would just do a search before they buy from some companies it would save them a lot of trouble.
I only opened a couple of pages about Icare -RC, they showed no problems in the couple of pages I pulled up but if I was going to order from them I would take the time and open more pages.
That's one of the reasons we have the search engine on RCU, to do a background check so you don't get ripped off.
