We were zipping around inverted with out SNS's, and wham!, right as we passed runway center we whacked. There was no flying out of this one. His went into a flat spin and mine tumbled and did a quick crash and go. His came out unscathed, but mine...well, look at the pic. It probably woudn't have been so bad, except earlier we both hand launched at the same time right next to each other, we hit, and his prop took out some of the bottom of my fuse.

Funny thing is, we had been trying hit each other all morning (after all these are supposed to be combat planes), but to no avail.

The good news...total damage cost...$3

unless those prop lacerations in the bottom of the wing will effect it (not likely ), then total cost goes up to $10

yep, down spout gutter tubing, I think it measures 2x3 inches and some coroplast. 3 Servos, a battery, receiver, and a .40 sized engine and you have cheap fun to fly plane. You would be absolutely amazed at how well it flies. It's called the Saturday Night Special and full plans can be found @ www.spadtothebone.com under spad originals

This plane is an absolute blast to fly!! As Kevin stated, we were both flying inverted coming at each other and Wham. It is nice to have a plane that you can fly all out without worry of crashing. Here is a picture that Kevin snapped just after "takeoff".
