No, it goes in one piece by the sliding door. Front passenger seat forward, then fish it in nose to rear. Just got to be carefull getting the stabs in. Wings fit easily in the width by the sliding side doors. Piece of cake

Got 3 flights in today before my ECU pack got low. These Kingtech's do not like a low battery! So I will need to purchase 2 more for back up! LMAO!!

I had a great maiden and a great 3 flights total! She is a beautiful flying plane.....so gentle and so docile landing.

Oh by the way, NO WHEEL WELLS!!!! and she is fine!!! Stock landing blocks...AND SHE IS FINE!!!!!!

Thanks to Henry and his guidance and all of my turbine brothers on this page, thanks for all the guidance and feedback on my build. It was an honor today in my flying career. Ive been flying since I was 9 and this was the tops!

Thanks to everyone for all the help!

Great flying Dblex what airport was that Robstown? Get yourself a leaf blower to help cool the turbine after shutdown that way you don't use so much battery on cool down. That will help a little bit. You should make the short drive down to McAllen sometime so we can do some flying.

Thank you Henry....does the v3 still require mini servos for the elevator and rudder. Or will standard size fit?

Alright gentlemen. On Dreamworks RC they have a similiar tank if not the same model as ours for sale, vent is on top. Very nice...but I didnt do that and put my vent tube inside wich was a little short. Probably a loss of 4 to 6 oz due to the rise of the tank. No big deal.

But what kind of flight times are you guys getting with throttle management? I did 4 min test flights and came in with about an inch or so on the bottom of the tank. I am thinking 5 to 5.5 minutes maybe 6 if I pattern for landing at the buzz of the timer...

SO, I am thinking MODIFY time already! Dreamworks site says its an 85OZ tank? is that the size of ours in the V2 and V3 kits?

Either way, I am making room for another 16 to 18oz...

YEAH BABY!

I've got my timer set to 5:30...so between 5:30 and 6:00 I start configuring for landing and land with about an inch of fuel left as well so I figure between that and the UAT I'm good for 2or 3 go arounds. This is with an old fuel thirsty AMT mercury. I have a k80 in my tams f16 and I know it's a more efficient engine than my mercury.

Hey Guys! I had a JC Rabbit VT90 on mine with the Dreamwork tank and a BVM UAT and my timer was set to 8 mins and I still had about 1-1.5" of fuel left. The tank I had in before buying the DW one was the stock with the inside the tank vent which I couldn't fill all the way, my timer was set to 7 mins.

Smoke in this configuration of airframe is a pain in the a**e, because of the tail and booms being in the exhaust you get an oily mess all over the back that needs to be constantly wiped off, even then it drips onto the floor of your car from parts you have missed, its surprising how much oil gets inside the servo covers after a while and contaminates the surrounding wood, just a heads up for those that have not done it before.

I Can get a 16 oz square tank between the main and tray. But I was thinking about an aux tank, not for smoke..
