The confusion is not on this thread, BUT on the Tornado sale ad. I too would be expecting a Free Tornado if I bought the turbine based on the ad.

""""""""""""""The new V3 comes built now for smaller struts that make it lower to the ground and can be used with either our Spring Air strut set or Dreamworks prolink gear. The wings have carbon fiber re-enforced spars and also heavily carbon fiber re-enforced built up booms. All servo's are internal and all slots for carbon control horns and hinges have been pre-cut.

This airplane is built for upto a 23lb thrust turbine but is about 2.5 lighter than the previous V3 so it can accommodate the Wren 44 or P60

******** BUY ANY KING TECH, JET CENTRAL JET, CAT TURBINE AND GET THIS PLANE FOR FREE******

Offer expires 12/22/2012 NO RAIN CHECKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHIPPING ANY WERE IN USA FOR $70.00 and CANADA for $95.00 """"""""""""""""""

why is everyone confused, its simple.  Forgot anything you hear elsewhere.  You don't combine deals. Henry has said it over and over. BUY THE TURBINE AT FULL PRICE GET THE PLANE FOR FREE. This is a great deal. Don't look at other sites this deal comes from Henry.  Case closed.

Are you saying you don't understand Turbulence's quote from Henry's ad?
Do you not see how confusion could originate from that?

Obviously it falls under the to good to be true KIDDING!

I was looking at the rcu ads this morning and the first one I saw was the kingtech k140 turbine offer. Looked pretty good. The very next ad was for the tornado and in the ad it said I could get the tornado for free with a purchase of any kingtech turbine. Woohoo. If I buy the kingtech from the previous ad then I can get the tornado for free! What a great deal! So I sent an email to make sure and nope, can't combine deals which I understand. The tornado ad could eliminate a lot of confusion by simply saying in it that the deal doesn't apply with any other specials on the turbines or Only with purchase of any turbine at full price... No big deal.

it is really annoying that you guys don't get how it could be confusing. i looked at the for sale ad well before anything was posted in the forums. the ad was placed before there was a post in the tornado thread. don't you get that? the ad itself did not state anything about being full price. it just said by an engine get a free plane. it is over and done with now and has been explained so you need to let it go but there is no reason to make it seem like we are crazy for misunderstanding.

I did not buy a turbine but I did buy 3 Tornado's at that price my buddies were in immediatly.  You cant beat that price I saw the Demo fly down here two weeks ago and it is a beast.  With the P100 it looked like it was doing way over 200mph.  and I must say the quality is very very good, looks like they have improved the finish and the build.  Nice Job Henry

I have a question. I have splitted the elevator on my V3 Tornado. And now I'm in the stage of hinging both halves to the stab. Here is my question, I've prepared (didn't drill yet) for three hinges per half, what hinge type should I use? 1/8th or 3/16 robart type hinge? I think both are fine; am I right? If so, what would you use?

Not what I use on most jets. Not enough glue area. I use Dubro giant scale flat hinges that have the pins. They are strong and plenty of area. Then I use Hysol one one side at a time and let it sit overnight.
