Dreamworks will be producing Pro-Link Gear sets for the new Tornado, we are working with Henry to have a set thoroughly tested and abused before the kits arrive.
Pricing should be inline with the current Falcon sets and packaged as we do our other offerings; Strut set, Basic Combo, Standard Combo (mechanical valves) and Deluxe Combo (electronic valves).
Based on the amount of emails I received requesting gear; I will make sure our first run has adequate quantities! We have considered offering the Modellbau kits at Henry's request; I have been very hesitant on stepping back in the "Kit Sales" arena again, been there and not sure I want to venture back down that path
I'll open this window a little and let you guys provide the input.... Do you want Dreamworks to begin offering select aircraft kits again??? There is another well known, well regarded kit manufacturer wanting us to be a dealer for their kit line.... If there is enough interest in us going this route again, I will consider some select brands to offer.
Todd

I missed what went wrong with your 1st venture in kit sales, but i can say dealing with you/someone I trust always makes me feel more comfortable. Especially when you inspect it & give your endorsement.. Not sure if I understood the question correctly, but that's my 2cents

I also do not know what went wrong with your first Kit venture, however you (Todd at Dreamworks) has always provided exceptional service. As has Henry at MBA
I think you two together could be a very powerful force in the business.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I think I remember Todd talking about some new turbine he was bringing to the market (Kingtech 80), that he tested & vouched was a good turbine.. At the time I was in a 100% Jetcat state of mind & I remember thinking "Why would he back them?"... Ever since then your track record has been excellent, & you've made a lot of good things available to us, not to mention good tips & techniques (for sure a solid go to guy).. Just hearing your considering being connected to Modellbau is great!...

Not to get into it deeply, but we where a very large Skymaster dealer in the past; among other aircraft. We had lots of issues although mostly due to the "supplier" at the time, not Skymaster.
I would have to be quite comfortable with the manufacturer to take aircraft on again, there is far more labor involved in kits!

I say Navy Blue, or better yet a Blue version painted like the Yellow bird, no Navy and get rid of that left over Gray on the Yellow and Blue birds........
I suggest the Blue bird will sell just as well if not better because of the South American influence.

A Red, Yellow and Blue Tornado line will be a winner!

Red & white! Definitely not that light blue that blends into blue sky.. My 2cents, even though I like the yellow better than both.

Henry, I agree with Mike in AL, get rid of the grey control surfaces...regardless of the paint scheme you go with.

The blue looks real nice, but I am in favor of the yellow as a fave... Similar to the old Ultimate colors...very visible.

Yep, on the pre-order list. Just waiting for Henry to start calling...lol
I'd like to see the new yellow one on my bench next month... with the new lower strut height, mine should drop in there.

Should be a fun time at Margaree this year!

I thought it was 'Navy' blue. That shade looks more like Air Force 1 'blue.'

It had Navy markings on it and it was Blue, my error for calling it Navy Blue.
Maybe light Blue with Navy markings would have been better.

Either way dropping Navy and all Gray paints will be a vast improvement in my book, and an easy way to tell the versions.

I guess I prefer more highly visible, contrasting with the sky, colors. I have an L-39 in "arctic camo"...neat looking scheme, on the ground. But on blue sky days with cumulus clouds it can get tough to see at times...I suppose just like the inventers of the camo scheme intended

You do make a good point though: a new scheme for V3 models would be a good way to differentiate it from previous versions. Not a bad idea at all.
