My buddy and I have what we think is a nice little backyard racing setup. We built it for 1/16 revo's, but we are looking for anyone to race with us from time to time.

This is just to see what interest there is locally, and to see if we can setup some weekend racing.

We are only running electric, if you are running nitro let me know and I will see what my friend who owns the track thinks... it is in a neighborhood.

We are in chesterfield VA, a few minutes from the chesterfield courthouse

Please post if you have any interest.

Yeah im open to have any type of electric car, truck, buggy that you would like to race within our size, speed.  Slashes would run well on our track in my back yard.  Just need some more racers so if anybody interested let us know and we can set up a weekend for a race.  Ill have more pictures up tomorrow.

Yeah it took a lot of time and effort to get this track to be where its at.  I used wood on all the jumps and turns except for the BIG banked turn in corner.  The reason for this is because it would take a ton of dirt and a lot of packing to make these jumps out of dirt... so for the quickest route, wood!  But I just made the frames in different levels and put dirt over top.  Then as you can see I used the drain pipes like all tracks have and used between 10-12inch nails to hold them down.  Now here is the hard part.. you got to get rid of all the grass.!!  Skora and I have used ordinary weed killer (round up) to advance weed killer that they use under roads to keep grass from growing..  and we also have a tourch that runs off of propane to touch up grass spots..

All we need now is more racers to race.!

Just sent you a PM. I race with the guys out in Powhatan. I live pretty close to you and I'm definitely interested in checking out your track!

I'm not sure if a brushed motor 2wd Slash will keep up with the mini e-revo or not, but it sure would be fun to find out!

Status: offline 		Also, what types of Slashes are you guys running out there? (2wd brushed, brushless, 4wd, etc.) Looks like buggy wheels/tires on at least one in the pic and I was just curious what setups you guys have been running out there so far...

we have a few here near charlottesville and we run the castle 4600 system,1/8 wheels and tires and lipo.
i'd like to check out your track sometime and maybe get a couple other guys to come with me.
