Does anyone have the July 1996 issue of Model Airplane News with the article of the Pica/Robbe ARC Rubin pattern plane by Rick Helmke?.

If someone has this issue and could post some pictures of the Pica/Robbe Rubin article i would highly appreciate it.

I have about 100 magazines between RCModeler and Model Airplane News going back to 1992 when i started flying RC and just this issue i`m missing lol unreal.

Anyway i hope someone could help me with this.

I assume this Rubin to be different from the one designed by Matt? I've been trying to locate further info on that design for some time. It used to be kitted in Japan in a couple of different scales. If the Rubin you're after is designed by Helmke, unless it was a joint effort, it is probably a different model.

Sorry maybe i wrote it down and it confused you the plane is the Pica/Robbe ARC Rubin from the Matt`s but what i meant is that the review was made by Rick Helmke in the magazine.

The Rubin it is. Well I have THREE photos - all I've ever found. These are of the 25 sized OK Model kit I believe.

The Robbe 60 kit was probably also sold in the US by ModelTech just like the Saphir (I recently bought one - my first ARC kit. Actually mine is branded Robbe) and maybe the Calypso.

Ray, if you get wind of this and have the article, I'd be very much interested in a copy too. What can I say, you've become the "go to" guy. What a collection!

I guess the Rubin was Matt's answer to Prettner's Supra Star (Magic/Arrow, Calypso/Joker, Supra Fly/Saphir, Supra Star/Rubin).

Oh, Matt has a snap with his OK Rubin 30 on his web site.
