Sir
Did I understand that you have the kit for the Sterling Cirrus? If so do you have a set of plans for it? I recently purchased a kit which had no plans for my grandsons and I to build but am having trouble finding plans.
Regards
Dan

Bob Holman has the plans at the addresses given in my previous post.

The big version or the small version. There are two you know.

A fellow about five miles from me has the big version kit and plans and wants parts for less than cost of wood.

My wife just bought me one of these kits on EBay, I like the wing span 66" this must be a post war or Korean War model as the decals are U.S. Air Force. I'm looking forward to building it.

I just happened on to this site when I was surfing for Sterling Models.  I came across a model in one of my model (railroad) boxes, it was a Sterling Peanut Scale double kit, Waco S.R.E. and Interstate Cadet.  It has been so long that I do not even remember build the Waco.  I must have, though, because the box only contains material for the Cadet.  It has been a long time since I have build any models, flying or otherwise.  I have a SIG Piper Cub constructe, but the flying controls are not installed and I do not have the funds with which to purchase the radio and engine.  Someday maybe.

The Fledgling was the first airplane I really flew - back in 1973/1974. It was a pretty decent airplane!

Here's my Sterling P-63 King Cobra I inherited from a buddy. It had never been flown but was rudely ready to fly.
I mocked it up with a Tigre 40 R/C and a Veco spinner for the before shots, then tore it apart. This was before I had even soloed an R/C model so I thought I'd put a Magnum 91 FS in it, because it was so big! I finished a few models, got to flying regularly and realized that I should just build it for a nostalgic look back at really old Pattern ships.
So now I have an ST V60 R/C and a Froom spinner for it with an old open face tube muffler. That'll be old fashioned. I'm trying to finish her up this summer, plan is a set of Williams Bros racing wheels, all white Monokote wings and tail with painted fuse and fin, Charles Tucker's racing markings from 1946, and a Scale-like cockpit.
Here are some pics...
Chris...

Sure would like to find a STERLING kit #15, the P-61 Black Widow.   Nazis shot down my wife's brother, over Reggiolo Italy, and I'd like to build the plane, kit or plans.   Thanks for any help.
