I believe that K&S makes 3/4 in streamlined aluminum tubing, but I don't know about 1". Check them out.

Go to Google and look up K&B metals.

Some Hobby shops stock that item.

You could make them out of hard balsa then cover them with vinyl or iron on material.

They probably won't be structual anyway.

Glenn Torrance sells them in different shapes and sizes. They are meant for WW1 planes but i'm sure they would work.

Try SeaCommander Floats. They offer the streamlined tubing for mounting floats:

The also offer flying wires:

If the use you're looking for is at all structural, I would go with the product from Seacommander Floats as it is a thicker wall material, IMO, K&B is strictly cosmetic (unless reinforced). Seacommander definately have the sizes you're your looking for.

What KenC said. From experience, K&S extrusions are "O" condition, meaning soft as cheese.

I built all the Struts for my 25% Waco from the GTM strut material and it is strong. Much thicker wall than the K&S and will handle the loads. I would higly recommend GTM, Glenn is a great guy to deal with.

Just like WacoNut, I used that GTM material for my 1/4 Waco YMF. Good material.
