Today taking to Tery he gave me the idea to do this will take placed in May 15-16 at my home field located in Covington Ga this field is about 5 hours from Myrtle Beach and Eglin AFB so I think is a good central area so who will say AH to this. Its not official yet but I will like to have some imput about this from D2 and D3 pilots who will attend its this happen.

I'm up for it amd I think the rest of the Eglin gang will be too..  Given the dates, you could call it the Team America X-treme Model Aerobatic Nationals (TAXMAN) Pattern Contest .  I think D3 wil;l make a good showing since it looks like it's going to be a little thin on contest this year with both Ocala and Jacksonville cancelling out.  So, I think most of us will support anyone who puts on a contest.

Hey Victor,

That sounds like fun and you can count on Chris and I. I don't know about us being any kind of a ringer but we'll sure try.

Hey, I think it is a great idea. As a newcomer I would like to see as many events as possible. I was really thinking of a way to make the Jacksonville event more viable, and profitable. But Covington is a great location. if you need some help let me know...Terry

Mark,

They will be there next year. Unfortunately the weekend fell on Red Bull airrace weekend in the northeast and we lost quite a few to that. The contest is continuing next year on the same dates, but there is no red bull competition next year.

Victor - Thanks a lot for jumping into D3, supporting the contest all year, and now for CD'ing an event as well!!

Marcio - likewise! Thanks for jumping into arrange and CD or Co CD the event!!!!

With these two new items, our schedule is nicely full for 2011 with contests reachable from all corners of the District.
Thanks,
Jim
