Oh great...another ''one upper guy'' lol hahaha take your low self esteem elswhere!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

One upper? Is that what you call someone who doesn't like the unfinished look of unpainted carbon fiber bodywork on cars?

News flash: Not everyone likes looking at cars that aren't done being built. It has nothing to do with one-upmanship.

IT still looks like you got it to the point where it ran good and said "Welp, it runs, let's go have some fun", completely forgetting to finish painting it.

That's what unpainted CF parts say to me.

378, if you don't like it....don't look at it. Simple solution.

Lez1, pics of the poster in your shop or I don't believe it...

Hi Tommygun, yes a 120cm poster centre fold was made by my boss's secretery for me and I hung it on the wall in the workshop where I revise bits'n'bobs from the ships I work on. Looks right at home between the playboy posters.
I'll do some photos of our workshop and THE WALL. Just hope that RCU will allow them.

im not into imports and hondas but that car is nicely built. does it ever see the road ? or is it a show car ?
cuz its really clean under the hood !

hondas around here have 200 000miles, rusted all over from road salt, have big alum wing and a 10$ huge tail pipe.
some are ballin' on 17" wheels, rocking a cheap bazooka tube sub, with selfmade window tint that peals off ...

Or people could not over-react from the inevitable. It's not like I called him a ricer or anything, or even said anything negative about the car, I just said I don't like the look of unpainted bodywork.

Geez...some people these days. So overly touchy about stupid things.

That way everybody is happy.
There is also the saying "silence is golden".

Everybody has there own taste........Some people like theme of some projects and some do not. Theres alot of projects Ive seen that just dont do it for me, but thats not the point. The point is being able to admire the craftsmanship and desire to pull together a project of any sort...( whether it be a toy or a real car) .Admiring ones work is one thing and/but  degrading because it dosent suite your preferance or taste  is another. PS....Painting carbon fiber actually deteriorates the stregnth of the carbon composite..IE: F1 cars are 90% CF and if noticed, with very little paint.

Thanks to all for all the Positive comments!!! Theres more to come with all 4 projects and then some

and Lez, I got see pics of this wall!  Pm me lol

I used a straight acetelyne torch...it seems to do the job. I tried using mapp gas and a small propane torch, and it worked but it was a long process. Brazing with silver solder a brass are bout the same, and its alot easier if you you use flux coated rod. Look up brazing on youtube and that will help alot...good luck

Really awesome work dude. Can't really say that I like the tuner cars either, but, yours is still well done.

When are you going to start the business of selling the sand rails? I'm in for one!!!

Coming from someone that has made a few CF composite pieces in my day. I would almost be willing to bet the hood already has paint on it. Carbon fiber body pieces are almost always clear coated for UV and moisture protection. It helps keep the epoxy from yellowing over time. I personally love the look of raw carbon. Only thing that would make it better is if the whole car was CF.

Some opinions are better left unvoiced. I like bare carbon fiber, it has it's place, but not on body panels, and I hate imports IMO, but Im not going to flame him for it or act like an over-opinionated ass. Tuner cars are just another branch of custom, which means "To one's own taste". So i will instead leave him with "GREAT rail, GREAT trailer, very nice looking car, cant wait to see more work from you!"  If you cannot be nice about it then move on, for real. Have some maturity.
