Doug, you can bend metal after stuffing sand in the tubes and warming the area that you wish to bend.

he is using solid 3/16 rod i think...

i did a rollcage for my lst2 and i brazed it using a oxy-mapp torch, it took a couple bottles of oxygen but worked good.
to make bends at first i used a brake line bender but for small pieces and tight bends it doesnt work.
i put a peice of metal tube in a vice and made my bends on it.

hope it helps, i will let bottlefed correct me if im wrong, cuz he did an amazing job with that sandrail !

Oxy map works great...... There's a small kit that home depot sell for pretty cheap...and as far as the rod, I used solid throughout. Heating the bends allows for a tighter bend and more precision, u can also cold bend for a little bigger radius, and for larger radius bends glow bout a 3" area and stretch across a dye. Hope this helps... U guys are getting me all exited to build another one... Lol like I don't already have enough projects going!

Man... that is a slick looking Honda, especially with the mesh wheels. I normally don't like tuned imports, but yours looks fantastic and really clean. Now you just need to shave the doors and use poppers. Props dude.
