Kevlar -> My engine is THIRSTY for some FUEL (4/11/2002 5:34:06 AM)

I have a TT Pro .61 and lost my manual. I'm pretty sure 15% Nitro would be OK but I need some validation from you guy's out there. Will that be okay?

Thanks!

Kevlar,

You'll be in good shape with 15% nitro in that engine. TT 61's are great engines, they do take a bit longer to break in than its OS counterpart but that is a sign of a long lasting engine. I always thought an 11x7 or 12x6 prop ran quite nice with that engine.

To help insure a good long life and great temperment, run at least 18% total oil, preferbly 20%. I'm pretty sure that running less than 18% oil in the TT 61 Pro will not hold up to the warranty requirements. Make sure at least some castor oil is part of the blend. I would not recommend an all synthetic fuel for that engine.

If you need some help sorting out plugs or want a little more help on the fuel thing, feel free to e-mail me, I'll do what I can.
