Warbirds Over Oklahoma flyer. Please share with your warbird friends. I keeping with the intent of Warbirds Over Oklahoma. We do not have any open flying for aircraft other than the permitted Warbird participant aircraft throughout the event. We also require all aircraft on the flight line to meet the operational requirements of the event. This assist in keeping the flight line with only the warbird aircraft permitted to fly during the event timeframes. Remember, for this year’s event, aircraft do not have to be in military colors. Any aircraft used by the military, in military or civilian paint schemes are allowed. If in doubt, research your aircraft on the internet and bring your documentation to the event. You will find many aircraft that qualify. Aircraft like the J-3, not just the L series, but even the piper yellow one’s were flown by the Civil Air Patrol in search of subs on the East and West coast of the U.S. Other aircraft included the PT-14 (WACO), the early twin beech and Cessna 310’s, just to name a few. If you are not sure then contact me and I will assist you in your search. Thank You, Flight Leader Warbirds Over Oklahoma Thank you, Steve Keesey
