I have solved my oscilating skylark. I found a small plastic bur on part of the swash assembly, after removing this it was steady as a rock. I did however find it far less responsive resulting in a broken tail rotor. having mended this and ordered a new one the tail motor has packed up. so i am now waiting for Mr postie before i can continue. I have a question about the paddles. are these not meant to provide any lift at all as i think my lack of recent control was due to me makind sure they were completly flat and level.
Thanks.
Rob.

You're getting bad vibration, correct? If the flybar has been broken, I'd replace it asap.

As for the paddles, they need to be balanced perfectly, and level when the swash is level. IMO, the paddles are the most frusterating aspect of balancing. I find it easiest to balance with the blades off. Just eyeball it as best you can, then fire up the heli with the blades still off to see if you get any vibration, and check the paddle tracking at the same time.
