Dennis.
I cant seem to keep hold of one for long enough at the moment.. That seems to be the problem. We have a little Habu making factory going on right now, and the next batch of three are on the bench right now.. I am hoping to have one of my own in time for Weston Park next week.
On that note.. I was very impressed with how well the 32 went with the 7Up ( Sprite) for power It was noticeably more lively than the P20 set up.. Not as user friendly, but a damn sight faster..
Now onto some plane pics
After all the abuse he has received today.. I thought poor old Mark at least deserves to see some nice photos of his new toy.. Without a doubt the nicest looking Tutor that I have seen in the UK.

WOW how many pages!! Tracy just told me to have a look (dont get to look on here often now) some fantastic photos! and as always a well run low key friendly event. I only go to 3 modeling events a year now and this has to be one of them.

Good to catch up with friends and see all the new toys (inc. the ones that run on milk Dunk)

See you all at Wobbly Wings

Dave

I think he'd say it was so powerful it could nearly rip the tail off a model

It was ok...
Starts ok, throttles a little slow but ok, power was... yep you guessed it.. Ok. It has never stopped, but then again I have only run it 10 or so times. The problem is that compared to a P-80 Se, it falls short. It just isn't as smooth or as quiet.
Dave.. Good to see you at a flying event again. Love the RV, and the knife edge pass in the pitts was superb.
Regards Al

Very sorry but I didn't Selleri. I did post on this thread that if requested I would take video but no one took me up on that. I just got the camera out when I wasn't setting up my Futura or picking up the bits. Don't be shy, please ask me next time.

No problem mate, besides the first half of my flights were just warmups, all the fun stuff happened in the later half.

Arrived at Heathrow around noon in my rental(big box and a large package), managed to punture a tyre not to far from the drop off point. Then the whole world stared at me when they walked past me in T1 while I played the waiting game until check-in just after 1800. Then when I had finally gotten aboard my ride home 3 hours later I noticed my box outside along with other baggages(some stacked on top ) and quite a few baggage handlers that were taking ages loading bags onboard. Finally the car drove off with my box...

Looked like it was heading for the rear loading hatch but I couldn't tell from my seat, about three hours later I arrived home, relatively sane, although getting a bit sick(@38.4°), then I played another waiting game for more than an hour to get my box... and what a "lovely" sight I was greated with...

Can anyone help me out? My wing tube got bent when I went off road. It's 25mm OD x 69cm length. Would anyone have a quality alu or carbon tube or know where I could get one at short notice?

Great meeting you at the weekend Selleri, I hope the airline treated you kinder than your baggage! Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

You should have used the “PUNCTURE HERE” tape I gave Ali, they only go for the ones marked “FRAGILE”!!!

All the best, Mick

Little and large.
Two of my favourite models of the event, and by the end of the day... neither belonged to me The Big Audi has been turnkey built for a customer and was just there to go through some shakedown flights ( Although I have a feeling it might need a whole load more before I am happy to deliver it )
and the smaller 1.9 I seemed to have given away ( Well sold, but it felt like giving it away at those mates rates) to my Icelandic friend.. I just hope whoever is at those pearly gates looks favourably on all these acts of kindness and charity when my time comes
