I'm a newbie in this art.
I think I'll stick with spray paint cans for a while before getting an airbrush.
So what are some good and preferrably affordable spray paints??

I use testors pactra paint for polycarbonate in the airbrush.
Its not as healthy to spray as the fascolour but its easyer to use once your used to it (IMHO)

For canned paint I use custom colour.

Be careful what createx paint you buy. Auto air is the paint you want to get from them. They make some other kinds for fingernails etc..

Tamia paint is horible IMO.

Its like the testors pactra canned paint, its very thin and has allot of thinners in it. This makes it hard to use propperly.

The custom colour I use is more durable and looks the same but its much easyer to spray as its thicker and dries faster.

I think ive used every paint going bar the createx auto air, ill have to buy some and try it. Thanks for the tip firstplacerace, maybee ill give my real car a flame job as well with the auto air

Well, as well as you can use the higher priced paints like Pactra and Fascolor, etc...I have also found that the new Krylon Fusion paint works VERY well, it seems more durable, and is easier to apply; not to mention the fact that a 3oz. can of Pactra will cost you about $3.50-$4, a 12oz. can of Fusion is the same price or even LESS!
I have had this paint job on my TMaxx body for over 21/2 mos. now with NO cracking, and NOT A SINGLE scratch...and trust me, I ABUSE my truck. Try it out.
