Ah yeah I'm forever redesigning everything as I come up with new ideas or aquire new bits.
I just love to tinker and when I get an idea I have to try it and see if it works.

The building is the fun part for me, once something is functional I either put it to the side and start something else or pull it apart to improve it.
I'm often found down at the scrapyard poking around in the bins.
Old angle grinders, mini quad bikes, mobility scooters and other things usually have lots of good little bits and pieces.
Haven't come across any photo copiers yet, but I've heard other people say they are good for bits.
Most of the sprockets I use are from pocket bikes or out of 4-stroke motors.

Not sure of the exact dimensions of the diff but I'll measure it for ya later.
This project has been shelved for quite some time but I think I'll pick t back up now that I have this diff.
I have lots of new ideas as always and am keen to get stuck back in to it.

Check out my YouTube channel for vids of some of my cars and other stuff I tinker with

To find big copiers go to your local copier shop and ask for the dead ones

You will find lots of hardened stainless shafts

Lots of gear boxes and motors , clutches , brakes , solenoid's , Bearings , even chain drives

They will surprise you

I have a sort of shoot-from-the-hip-guess on the diameter of the diff, about 80 mm?

After a bit of Bräkleen, wiping and wirebrushing it came up ok

nice find on the diff! I'm sure it will come handy on your next independent rear suspension project, along with some universals

That is not a bad guess, taken in consideration i measured the bolts diameter (8 mm i guess?) with a meter stick on my computer screen and dividing and multiplying a bit
