I can only offer a couple ideas. I would be happy to look at the pieces you have between the two caliber 30'S, and give a honest opinion of what it would take to make one good bird of the two, and like was said already, perhaps buying a new caliber 30, with all the spares you have might be a good idea. I am new also to helis, but am good with tools and would be happy to donate my time, if you think it might be helpful. I'll be the FIRST to say I'm not a set up expert, simply a put the pieces together type experience, LOL. I also really like the idea of when it comes time to set up, or really even deciding on which product also, to listen to the experienced successful hobbyists. Theres no substitute for hands on experience, and a already written past of success. Listen to the accomplished hobbyists, that are willing to share.
