Can anyone give some feedback on the 3.6M Condor sailplane from Esprit Models. Has anyone delt with this company? Godd or bad. Has anyone had this bird? Quality of construction, flight performance, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am concidering purchasing one for the up coming season. Thanks in advance for any info.

I purchased from them in 2000 a Pulsar then again in 02 another Pulsar. I bought a Pehasus two weeks ago I had a building issue contcted both them and the manufacturer can't say enough good things both in quality of Topmodels CV and Esprit Models go buy with satisfaction

Esprit is good to deal with and that is nice for the price.

Thanks very much for the info. Also looking at
the Elixir 3.2. Anybody flown either one? How are they on a winch and off a highstart?

Wow, check the weight of either of the listed planes first.

As far as Esprit and ZB, only good for the past 9 years or so.

I am somewhat of newbie to soaring. I taught myself to fly with a Craftair Wind Drifter, and I have have flown a few different gliders since then. What is the typical weight of a glider this size? I am wanting a good sailplane to get into competing with. I am on a limited budget, thats why I had these two in mind. I have been building and flying R/C for 40+ years. thanks for the info.

For a comptition sailplane you are looking at around 2000 grams or so.

You can save a ton on buyer a good used ship.

There is a Tragi 705X RTF for sale on this forum. They come in around 2150 grams. Stong as hell and fly great. Not the newest great RED floater yet still nice. The $1200.00 is for a ship that cost $1800.00 plus $500.00 gear plus build.

You can find cheaper still. I picked one up early last year for about $350.00.

There is not much for sale here but over on R C groups dot com there are much more.

Better yet seek out and find a club near you. Better deals and lots of help to boot too.

Take your time and do the research for you make the best choice the first time.
