Is that your Hummer ? You'll enjoy it more if you restrain the model better before you start the engine again

you are right i didn't know it had so much slack . yes that is my other toy. I can not get this girl to balence out under 5-1/2 with this dl . even at 5-1/2 bal. it is still 1-13/16 away from the middle of the wing tub I just dont wont know surprise on madden . plane weights 17 pounds, with the balence it will be 18 pound. still nothing for this dL but wing loading is my concern

what balancer are you using? I've used the CG Machine with good results, fingers will get you in the ballpark though. and i prolly wouldn't trust the bathroom scales as accurate.

OK I found out that they want you to go from the leading edge of the wing tip so now I am 4-1/4 i think I maybe safe for the madden

Do you mind me asking what you plan on doing with the fuse and old patty parts? I may be interested.

I had the patty all tricked out and doing great. You may recognize the wheel pants. Never got around to taking them back to scale. I redid almost everything else. Then.................well..................I showed off one day just a little too low in an inverted pass barreling down the runway at maybe 50 MPH. It was at the end of last season. Here is the result. Patty was PISSED. I pealed off the whole vertical stab and the rudder, the top of the canopy, 17" of the 23" prop, about 3" of the turtle deck, and got dirt in Patties hair. It bounced back into the air to about 12' still inverted, so I rolled it over and landed on the gear hard (a little nose heavy now ). It just lay they all fractured up like a deer hit by a truck. It was show center and quite the crash. I wanted to get into a YAK, but didn't have the equipment for another 50cc size plane, till that moment. Here is what the Patty equipment went into.

I finally got a chance to get mine out and start braking in my DL50. Runs great. Can't wait for all this white stuff to go away so I can get out flying. Here's some cell phone pics...love the prop effects.
