I have a proline Tmaxx body ordered for my eathquake 3.5. I will post if it fits. The bodies are weak but I think its the cold. They cant even make it through shipping. You get what you pay for Redcat body $20 proline body $33. Lexan is much more forgiving in the cold but they will break too. Maybe if I take the 2 broken bodies I have and glue them together I ll get 1 good one. Dont think so.

the stock t-maxx bodies fit with some trimming
see my post "1st day with new toys"
i broke the stock body and bought a t-maxx body from the hobby shop and it needed alittle trimming to fit the earthquake. looks pretty good still.

I got an Earthquake 8E as my first RC car ever and broke the body my frist trip outside, ha! It was about 15 degrees out so the body just shattered after a wheelie went bad. I went to the local hobby shop and bought a Pro-line Tmaxx/Revo body and trimmed it to fit. Mind you I've never trimmed/painted a body before and it came out great and looks alot better than the stock body! I'm super happy so far and I'm shocked it was as easy as it was to make it fit. Also it was about 25 degrees out today and I went for a spin with it and off course it ended up upside down...but this time no problems other than some sratches. This body is lexan and much thicker/stronger. Here are some pics.

yeh, the stock bodies are not at tough as i would have liked. and the cold temps dont help either.
also, its a good idea to use washers on the body posts. they are small and put alot of preasure on a small area of the body. a washer will help spread the load.

my 8e's body broke the 1st day out. jumped a wall ramp and landed upside down from 15 feet in the air(also cold out) and it broke pretty bad.

i got the t-maxx prographix body. it was the only 1/8 truck body my LHS had instock. alittle trimming was needed but it looks pretty good. actually makes the truck appear bigger.

i really like the black paint job on yours tho! kinda wish i had gotten a clear body now

Haha thanks, that one looks good though! And you might as well just get a clear one too, whats another $25 right? It was actually a fun little indoor project for this time of year. I might just get a couple more of these bodies to make up on the next 10 degree day when the snow is flying. Can't hurt to have extra bodies around I'm sure.

Got my New Avalanche XP last Thursday.
Here it is with it's new body.

It's the HPI Jeep Rubicon body for the Savage. Fits pretty well.
