Frank,

It is set up for four, but I have never flown it with four jumpers.

I usually take the Stik it is much easier to haul and put together.

I have only flown it with 2 jumpers a few times, most of the time when it takes up jumpers I'm flying one of the jumpers and someone else is flying the plane.

Due to a slow year and cost to make the run this year ,I won,t be able to make it
Hope all have a great time at Muncie, I will miss seeing all of you ,Gary ,Juan,Bob,Frank and all the rest of the jumping crowd

It always is a great time to be had at the biggest field we can ever have a meet at , and the HQ of AMA

My new SR Telemaster has not been of the shelf all year for test flight , heck I havent even fired up a motor all year -seems like a lost flying year, only been to a fly field 4 or 5 times -locals thought Id went to the great beyond, but alas a lot of other events just took over -next year is going to chang that -got a small group of jumpers here 6 to be exact and all have jumpers and about ready to hold some trash talking jumps around here now that we have a large enough space to do it
Later
Don

Jim,
I was very disappointed no orange circle. Although the score numbers were in orange.

GaryV took first place, Trey was second and Frank Moak was third. Frank and Trey had to hold a flyoff on their last jump. Both of them landed outside the circle but Trey was closer. GaryV will post pictures of the winners I am sure.

There were 15 competitors. (I think that is pretty close to the right number). It would have been nice if you could have made it.

Next year no orange circles I will lead a strike. I hope Jules gets to make it next year so he can become a protester along with me!!

Congratulations to the winners, Gary,Trey and Frank !

It's looking on the Photo's that the weather was better than the forecast .

Juan ,What's your score ?

That you not ended in the top tree has only one reason you know that, do you ?
Orange Power !!!

OR that's a other option, to many Margarita's on Friday night ?

Jules

Jules,

I had a very low score. If they had been giving the "Pants Down" thropy I probably would have won it.

As you can see from the pictures the weather was cloudy with about 10 mph winds. There was a little bit of rain on Sunday.

The only thing orange about the circle was the score numbers. Next year I will bring orange paint. If they don't paint an orange circle we will paint our own. I hope to see you there next year.

ORANGE POWER FOREVER!!!!!

Jules You are probably right about the Margaritas and Juan. Nothing washes that good Mexican food down in Muncie better-and Juan probably had a good wash job!!! That's the way the other guys manage to beat Juan-feed him the Margaritas and use white paint!!!

Congrats to you winners. Gary, how many times have you won first place over the years? Great job again.

Sorry I missed the festivities this year. Maybe Jules and I can make the next one.

I will be jumping 3 mikes this Sat during the noon demo at Hodges Hobbies fall flyin in Andersonville, Ga. He should have over 100 pilots and many, many spectators watching me try to hit the 1600 ft runway!!

Photo is of a practice jump with a 3x5 ft flag at our club field. Hope this Sat turns aout as well.

Jim

Jim,
I did have three margaritas Saturday night at the Texas Roadhouse. You think that might be what messed things up for me on Sunday?

Yep it would great to see you and Jules next year.

Yeah one of these days they will have orange paint for the circle then look out!

Jim I don't think you will have any problem with the 1600' runway just make sure there ain't houses in the area!! Just joking of course.

No houses but they do have a large hoby shop. May can make that roof and get another prize like I got in Columbus for landing on the house!

I'm good at house landings!!!
