I was checking the controls on my airplane yesterday and noticed something really strange_.

If I move the stick of my Futaba 8U slowly, everything is OK but if I move it faster than the servo can respond, the servo stops before reaching full travel. It stops at the instant I reach full travel on the transmitter. As soon as I let the stick go just a little, the servo reaches the desired position.

This is happening only when I give full right rudder (this is a rudder servo) as it does not do it with left rudder.

To check if it was a bad transmitter, I did the same test with my other airplane and everything is OK.

I cannot compare with other 56XX servos but I own 2 5925 and they do not do that (as if I was fast enough to be faster than the servo ).

What should I do, the reliability of this servo is perfect so far. I think it is written Mar 2002 on the case of the servo. The servo is plugged directly on the receiver, I run on dual 1100Mah NiMh 4.8 volt batteries, with their own switch to a Supreme 8 receiver.
Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure what the problem is. You might want to send them in and we can check it out.

Mike.
