Almost done. Waiting on some markings from Promark and the big thing that has us stopped is the second engine is not here from Todd at Dreamworks yet.

Here are some pics I had while waiting

The last of the markings arrived and are installed. Trays and batteries installed. Still waiting on second engine. Clear goes on next. Had to do some stuffing before clear to make sure ready for Mississippi as long as engine makes it. Fingers crossed.

What the hell you mean " If the engine makes it "?????? It it still in a Mine or in a Bucket somewhere??? That project is way too huge and Don has done an unbelievable job in a unbeleivable amout of time to get shot down over an engine not showing up !!!!! That is unacecpteble !!!!! ( Thats what my customers used to tell me on the Service Drive ) The WORLD is watching !!! It better be there with TWO perfectly running engines !!!!!! Turn up the heat...110% on there Reactor !!!! Make it happen !!!! Failure is not an option !!!!

Get er Done !!!!!

Dan,

I have done all I can do. It is paid for over a month ago with Todd at Dreamworks. Waiting on him to deliver. Got Don Twiddeling thumbs waiting on it. Sent several requests for info. No body has clue when the engines are coming.

Chris,

Rivets are from Promark. They are in rows and you cut them in strips of either one or two rivet lines. Place on panel line and rub with burnishing tool to set in place. Then when all markings are in place clear coat over them.

Hope that helps

Just a note, you don't need to clear over the transfers. They are more than durable enough under normal use, unless you are trying to dull down the finish you can save the weight of the clear, just a thought! Only thing to be careful of when not cleared is to soak the decal in strong cleaner or solvent. Put your cleaner on a rag and wipe away, never had a problem.
Nice bird by the way.

I am painting with a base coat clear coat system. So I have to clear. But the markings will work without. With the none gloss clears I like the fact you can steel wool the finish.

Have had several inquiries on status. The second engine has arrived. Project on hold as I support my wife in her battle with cancer. Would appreciate any prayers her way. Her name is Suzanne.
