My luck was kind of the opposite. Saw a deal on what looked like a nice RC8T CE roller, so I bid what I was sure a low-ish price for it - and won- for €228 shipped.. (new is €450 - with tires though.. Mine came with used Losi tires/rims) Supposedly "one race" old. Well, I don't know, maybe it was a 24-hour enduro race, because that thing is falling apart at the seams.. Nice airbrushed body, and that's about it. So anyway, I have since spent €100 TWICE on spare parts for it(some needed, some - like a new body - not so much - some like a couple diffs, just as spares..) So yes, I should have bought new. You hear it all the time, and sometimes it is true. Like this time.. :-(

Actually, it's not that bad.. I have a winter project now, and all in all, I will have a decent roller with almost complete new front and rear ends, with spares out of it.. Except shocks - at least one is leaking... So, work to do..
