Status: offline 		Whatever happed with the Pond Racer?
The full size had engine problems.
I've seen them modeled but I've never seen any fly.

Status: offline 		The full scale airplane was destroyed in a crash at Reno a few years back, killing the pilot. It was the only one built and as far as I know there are no plans for another. The engines were modified Nissan automotive units and never did work quite right in the airplane.

I wondered why it wasn't carried on in giant scale air racing?

Status: offline 		When I lived in Tulsa OK Bill Cunningham had a 1/3 Pond with two A cubed engines. Awsome aircraft but I think his Stelleto was faster.
