Well, the experiment is officially over. I flew in the District 4 meet saturday (couldn't go back sunday). We got in three rounds saturday. I was second in one round and last in the other two (I think there were 8 or 9 in Intermediate). The comment from the judges I heard most often was "It's difficult to see! It was difficult to fly well do to the the roll coupling. Even though I had it mixed out at mid throttle, faster or slower and it would come back. Slow throttle it comes back in the opposite direction. Also a lot of times I did not know the wings were not level until I started to pull out.

So if anyone is interested in continuing the biplane experimentation, shoot me an email, I've got a Dr J Bipe I'll let go real cheap.
