Here is a little video about our first test. We only used 20% throttle and we have some engine issues, but it runned well

Just for you guys, a private video about the third test. We had a lot of issues, the v-belt has a big slip, the springs were too weak and without sway bar we get a serious body roll. At the end our main battery died because of a short circuit in the steering servo, and when happens this? When I go straight to the camera!!! (Nobody hurts)

We put back now the timing belt, we've stronger springs, a sport-exhaust and rebuilt steering servo. We will go for a new test as soon as possible!

Preparing, preparing...

The engine is still not the best, but we found what was the problem. The carb-manifold sealing has a crack... We fixed it, next test in a few days. The rear spring are still too strong.

this is the Mammuth "two" We're preparing it for the shoot of the advertisement movie, which you can see at the end of March (if everything goes well ). We've started MammuthWorks "company" and the Mammuth "two" is our first production car, we call it "Rewarron". When the ad movie will be available, then we will have a brand new website with a surprise...

We've changed the final drive ratio from 1:6 to 1:3 because last time the car was a little bit slow. It was just a short run to look how it moves, it looks good! The noise at the end was not a big problem, just a little pinion join mistake, nothing broke

We've tested the prototype of our worm geared servo. It was just a speed and assembly test. We put together and started to run. The speed is good (0,2 sec / 60 degree) with the calculated torque: 212kg-cm. It ran for an hour, next will be the torque test.

Awesome. I've said it before and I'll say it again this car is by far the most impressive RC car I've ever seen. I would love to see it go into production, even in limited amounts. I'd sell my flagship RC boats to drive one of these things!

Keep up the good work.

im speechless when i see this mammuth rig youve been trying to build , but looks like your struggling with a functional chassis and motor . look at this video follow a traditional chassis platform like this person in the video .

well ok , i hope you get it worked out , the way those rear springs are mounted right in the middle and vertically of the car looks a little weird in that location . while everyone else has them at the rear mounted to the rear lower arms in proportion to the vehicle .

Hey there guys, at last we have some updates! Actually not just one, but two
First: we have a brand new website with lots of cool stuff! We have a nice chart about the car, a new gallery, some development information about the servo and car controller, AND, you can vote what should be our next car in the series So check out http://mammuthworks.com

But what you should start with is THIS:
Our promo video about the world's first 1:3 scale production R/C car, the Mammuth Rewarron! See it in action and with cool music:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfgQ_YW8ezA

Can't wait to see your feedback, let us know what do you think
