Savages rock
Iam fairly new to nitro cars, when Ifirst got into it Ibought a earthquake 3.0 from redcat which was the biggest mistake Ihave ever made. About a month back Ibought a savage X 4.6 and Iwould have to say its so much better than that redcat. Ihave had nothing but problems with that stupid earthquake 3,0 everytime Idrive it something breaks or it will run good for a minute then die. My savage never dies on me in the middle of run in less Iam outta gas its easy to tune and nothing breaks in less its something Icaused by being careless. Just wanna say that from what little time Ihave been into the hobby so far the best Ihave driven between what Iown and what my friends own nothing compares to a savage.

RE: Savages rock
Ive had nothing but savages, ive had 7 of them over the years. My first in 2005, ive bashed and bashed and bashed and they love it, they keep coming back for more.
Ive got mates that have had revo's t'maxx's, lst's, titans and a few other cheaper brands.
Nothing even comes close to the durability of the savage.
I rate them 11 out of 10 for bashing

RE: Savages rock
see, now THATS a bashing truck. I know people out there love their t-maxx's and revo's, but c'mon guys. They wouldnt survive that. I've seen them crumble in front of me in a head on collision with my savage. Guess who drove away?
Revo's are excellent out of the box racers, t-maxx's are Traxxas' "in" to the MT world but traxxas is more focused on racing. Hence the wicked Revo RTR Race truck.
HPI designed the savage for the average backyard basher who just wants a tough, reliable, durable truck to play with in the backyard. Even HPI has said they never expected the HPI Savage to reach the level of pupularity in the hop up industry that it has.
Just being honest.
