Status: offline 		Barry Leavingood and Valley Flyers, Thanks ofr a great race and efficiently run race.

I do not know who thought of having a public address system on the flight line to aid in the identification of cuts, But it was awesome. The pilots and callers could get real time infor on cuts and last lap info through the audio without having to rely on visual aides.

I believe the PA was hooked into the communication between pylons so you would receive cut info and last lap info as quickly as the the race officials.

I really want to inform people this is a very simple solution to not knowing if you have cuts immediately. You or your caller can have the info as quickly as the officials and it is not a big secret or mystery.

Barry and Valley Flyers did a great job at one of the best flying sites and have gone the extra distance to improve their races.

Hats Off to you guys and gals.

Thanks for the complement. I also think having the complete race com system piped over the PA provides several benefits. First but not most important it provides a lot of entertainment in the pits. Not only do spectators have a better understanding of what’s going on during the race it gives them a little insight into the actual running of the race. As you said using the system this way also provides an additional source of information for the racers and judges.
