Ok, I have a Caldera 10e and aftershock 8e which use the same turnbuckles.   I thought they were 4mm, so I bought a 4mm turnbuckle wrench, but it appears to small.   Is it just my wrench that appears wacked, or is it a differnt size?

I just went thru the same issue of finding a wrench to fit these on my backdraft and they take a 4.5mm.

the turnbuckle started as a 4.5mm hex and is turned down round leaving only the center hex and then threaded and whats left is 4mm thus a 4mm turnbuckle is created. I bought a 10 pc midget metric wrench set at Menards for $14

That makes total sense now.....................I was looking for a similar set of wrenches, but I can't find a set for a reasonable price.

We don't have Menards in canada, and HD didn't have the mini-size.   I have been looking online, but can only find singles for a reasonable price.   I've found sets, but once you add the shipping costs (we get hosed for shipping costs here in Canada for items coming across the boarder), the price is more than I think its worth.   I'm gonna keep an eye out at the various well known online hobby stores for the 4.5mm.

ya, i initially bought a 4mm wrench (cause they called the turnbuckles 4mm ones), but soon found out that it actually isn't.   I could do as you suggest and file the 4mm wrench to fit.
