I'm installing a new engine in a Losi LST XXL, and I was wondering if any one could explain me the process in shimming the engine right? Has anyone have any experience in doing this? I'm also installing a new engine in a Losi aftershock, I would also like to know the process in shimming the engine for this one or the process for installing these correctly. Thanks for any help that could be given.

The only thing that should be shimmed on a big block in an LST truck is the clutch bell. Most big blocks drop right in. Picos need to be shimmed higher so the flywheel clears the chassis. LRP, SH, Dynamite engines all fit without much fuss. Shim the clutch for minimal movement in and out.
