The Dave Platt / Pica 65" span kit is not the clipped wing Version,
At 65" it actually 1-6.8 scale, so about 1/7th

Dave designed and sells a 1/5th version with a clipped wing look here

Pica also kitted a 1/5 kit full wing tip version, but they are long OOB

good luck

Be also aware that the wing on this model has been shifted aft from its scale location. It is supposedly a Mk 9 but a friend found that if he added several inches to the rear fuselage, the proportions are pretty much on for a Mk 14.

This would be the case for the Mk 9 as well since, from the firewall aft, the fuselage of the 9 and 14 are the same length. In fact I believe that is pretty much true for all Marks of the Spit. The length of the nose varies as well as the size and shape of the vertical fin but I'm relatively certain that the fuselage length from the firewall to the leading edge of the stab is the same on all Spitfires.
