Hi all,

this is my first post and I am a bit desperate: I got a beautiful MISS GEICO from ProBoat (and yes, I also got a lot of advice on how to modify it)... but no idea where to take it out here in Dubai.

Are there any clubs or teams who race their boats on special locations in or around Dubai, as the Arabian Gulf is not calm enough to fire it with 50mph over... :-)

Status: offline 		I do know that there are some gas boat racers in Dubai but I'd have to find out where they race. Whether or not they run nitro boats, I don't know. These guys have got some serious money into them.

a very good place to race boats in dubai is the sharjah creek, near al mamzer beach park. this is 5 minutes away from dubai airport, and when there is only slight winds, it is protected and fairly calm

Status: offline 		yes, but no issues with that. after racing I go and clean boat and flush pipes and lines, done.

my main problem is the cooling, as the water has fairly 35 degrees at the moment :-)

just wondering if anyone knows where to race RC boats in UAE and if anyone is interested in starting up a RC boat Club here in DUBAI?
or just getting together and race our boats on a regular base .....
