 Thanks Pete,
Got the final coats of clear on today, must say now i am happy, it has been one hell of a long paint job, expensive and long.......
Build will continue in a few days once the clear cures.
Regards
Mick

Thanks for the feed back guy's, this boat is sure one long drawn out build, and it's nice to hear positive feedback.
Warm thanks

Hi guy's, just a quick update,  water pickups are in, water pumps are mounted, radio box is mounted.   Still got to turn up the bellcranks for the steering and the throttle, cut out the servo mounting plate, mount and route the rudder.  so a few things to go yet.
Regards Mick

Hey Bently, thanks mate,  baby is enjoying keeping us up at the moment, other than that she is doing well it is amazing how quick they grow up.  Got to try and dig the photo of her sitting in this hull before i started adding the radio box, all you would have to do was add a steering wheen and it would have looked the part.....
Cheers Mick

i just noticed on your pics a few post back, make sure you check and re check that drive line, the 520"s are very hard on cables, its hard to see how smooth things are from the pics, i dont want to see you lose a prop and really have a set back, it looks like you have a s bend going and i really do not think that will hold up if its not just the way it looks in the photo, we had to double sleeve our drive line as just a 5/16 tube alone allowed for to much slop and we broke cables, your boat looks great, good luck with your first outing,

 Hey Guys,
Hey GHOST, your most welcome, we are trying to go for about 9:30 Saturday morn, give me a yell.

Hi Peter ,  yes mate as Chris said i have the pullstarters installed and am hoping to be getting them started this friday ??????

Expresscraft, yes there is a s bend in the stuffing tube, i had to do this in order to get the whole engines to fit into the sponsons, i am not entirely happy with them but it is as good as it is going to go, i have tried to make pains to make minimal bends in the whole driveline, with the failure rate of the cables with the S520's, i am having to rely on keeping the cables well lubricated and oh yeah LUCK!    the Stuffing tube fits nice and snug around the drive cable so hopefully there will not bee that much whip .
Any tips on starting these S520's?

Thanks for the kind words, and you can be sure i will have some footage of it either bad or good.
Warm regards all.
Mick
