Sounds good buddy, hope it goes well today. Might inspire Dazza to get that big hydrolift happening.

Cheers

Well the engines are easy to start now, but the maiden voyage didn't go as good as i had hoped,  i think i had chopped too much off the driveshafts, so there wasn't enough shaft into the coupler, as such it went loose and lost the first shaft and prop in the shallow water, no harm done, found the shaft , reinstalled it, and gave it another try, but then because i had to loosen the drive dog, i think i rounded off the hex in the grub screw and so it then came loose.
Bottom line i found out how it all floated,  and now i have purchased new drive shafts (longer ones) and some stainless grub screws, and a new set of allen key's.
I will try to get the footage of it tomorrow uploaded, even though it may not be all that exciting.
Hoping to be giving it another try once i get the new shafts.
Cheers Mick

hey Mick, remember measure twice cut once, even if you cut them a little longer and trim them up. Hope all is well your way.

Hi Pete,
Boat went alot better than before, has plenty of promise, turns real nice and doesn't seem to have any bad tendencies ,  could only get it to half throttle due to carby tunning and some heat build up under the cowl.  Going to put some more air vents in to better the airflow and some more tweeks on the carby's should do it.
Found out after the last run that the grub screw holding the strut at height was missing, so pretty sure what i thought was a carby problem may also be due to that.
  Here is the Vid:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM27-eWU5uA

Don't have the heart to sell it now, just going to be too much fun.

Any one elso have any idea's on getting it run better i am open to any coments.
Cheers all
Mick

Good to see that shes finaly on the water. I didnt think you were going to sell her after she was running..... Why dont you make another hatch and cut the sreen out and mesh it. If that works then you can cut the painted one.
Now your just going to have to play around with the setting and try and get those 2 motors to run in sync.
Oh and we need a much larger pond so we can really stretch that girl out once shes dial in and of corse broken in..

Mick, Once you fix that pesky grub screw it won't take long to get the engines dialed in, almost there on the last run. Should have a new RX this week. Building the stand today.

Cheers
