I'm looking for a tuned pipe for my supervee 27.

I've looked at the MAC pipes but I know there has to be others out there.

With the MAC pipe would the 2.5 High be the best bet? Whats the real difference between the MACS high and low pipe?

I'm mainly looking for other brands besides MAC's and wanted to see whats out there that would work.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post and help me.

The pipe for the Vegas Deuce will work on a Super Vee 27.

Thanks for the reply and thats pretty much the same pipe that comes stock on the SV27. I may end up getting a MAC pipe but just wanted to see what else is out there that would work.

I posted some pictures of my boat running.

Actually, it is a different pipe, the Q-18 I believe it's called designed by Glenn Quarles for Aquacraft.
BTW, Jerry does know a little about the Vegas boats as he did some of the work on them!

Hi Ron....how are you?.......Yes...I have a MVD pipe on my SV....and it is a lot queiter....than the stock pipe......It is the Q18 pipe....which is a LOT better if you run in ponds and/or lakes that complain about the noise....

Come on up here, we've got water up the wazoo! Actually we're still having some flooding in smaller streams and rivers but not like people along the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.

I found another pipe that ought to work really well. Cooper Pipes, www.cooperpipes.com sells a quiet .18 pipe but it ain't cheap. I've been running Cooper (formerly Irwin) pipes for years and are some of best that I've ever used.
