I have to agree that it's pretty much a resounding no, as is the case with my other hobbies, which are even more obscure and misunderstood.

The only time I'm able to attract any female attention with R/C alone is when I do something rather insane, such as jumping a large scale over a creek or attempting double backflips with a Savage and a 6ft ramp. Even then, they're only drawn to it because of the 'Wow' factor, not as a result of an actual interest in the hobby. Otherwise, they tend to think that we're just a bunch of kids who failed to grow up and out of our toys. Maybe it's true, but I'd love to see most kids or even the average adult attempt to tune a nitro engine or program a brushless ESC.

In summary, I find R/C to be quite a social hobby with the 20+ person weekend bash/race sessions we hold at the local track, but it sure as hell isn't going to help you get some.

ThunderbirdJunkie is generally not that critical of women, especially those who have the lack of issues with confidence to be photographed in such a manner...but what happened to that redhead's face?

My girlfriend is into the hobby. She has a certain respect for electric vehicles and on-road vehicles. However, her face lights up whenever she hears a well-tuned nitro engine (yes, she knows when the tune is good or not ) and sees dust or dirt being kicked up by off-road vehicles, especially buggies and truggies. Of course, her favourite vehicle is a 1/8 scale nitro buggy (as if you guys couldn't have guessed ).

Fifth, why are you pimping your crap site that has nothing of consequence on it?

Here's a little tip...

If we wanted to look at pictures of women in short shorts, WE PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE ON AN RC SITE.

Just sayin'.

ThunderbirdJunkie knows a few girls with no class that wear those, too.

LOL no one is forcing you to read this thread. If you are looking for the all-male revue, you'll have to find that on your own

Yes SyCo, she definitely IS a 'keeper' . I took her to the track one day last year after I really started getting back into the hobby and she's been an RC girl since then .

The redhead's picture - what's the (servo/battery?) connector handing out the top right of the radio? Looks a bit out of place!
