Outstanding news about your son , our prayers are with you .

The cockpit looks amazing !!! I really like the simulated fabric insulation on the wiring .

It turns out that MANFRED and I belong to the same flying club, and he is inviting me over so i'll get to see his CARF Corsair in person.
how cool is that !!!

Best of luck........joe

It's harder to post photos over there I still can't do it. I can't wait to see your cockpit I'm sure it is second to none and w/ lights should have known!

Bruce

Bruce, I figured out that you need to run them through Photo Razor and reduce the size. Then they work fine.

OK guys, gotta get back to my shop and back to work. I'm working on the cowl flaps this evening. My laptop connects to RCU just fine here at Brian's shop. It must be my router.

BTW, if anyone is needing Steel Powder, just let Brian know.

Later dudes

Gary

Gary,

Where did you get the colored plastic disks for the underside of the wings? If you have extras can I purchase them from you?
Also are you having working lights in them?

Very very nice work,

Thank you for taking the time to post all this information!

Michael

Here is the bullet shield.

Did the bullet shield REALLY stop bullets, or was it just something the military put in the planes to provide a false sense of security to the pilots?

Not only does the cockpit look really good, it looks like the real thing. If it wasn't for the plastic parts box in the background, I'd think you were posting pictures from the full sized Corsair cockpit.
Your Corsair is just getting better and better! Lights, switches, wires, tailwheel and tail hook details, canvas zipper, folding wings, wheel-well details, disc brakes, cockpit, sliding canopy, scale inspection plates, trim tabs, grill, smoke system, flashing lights and sound to simulate gunfire ... AMAZING !!!

Outstanding realism. If I did not know better I'd sware you used a shrink ray and shrunk a full size one down. Really great work Gary. See you at Toledo JohnBoy
